What is Pyrography? Pyrography is the art of drawing on wood, gourds, leather or paper with a heated object (woodburning pen). In its most basic form, the appeal lies in its rustic and natural beauty.

In its most complex form, the combination of textures and drawing can create pictures that appear almost lifelike. Add the use of colour and you begin to see that the possibilities for burning are almost endless.
